Random 2
Walk down to the street; I can smell the salted fish, spices, garlic, onion, fresh coconut milk and etc. That’s my grandmother house, is an oldies wooden made sundry shop. Behind of the shop is where grandmother lives. Middle of the house growled big trunk green coconut. She always likes to order her Indian workers pick it down and let us taste the fresh coconut water. When time passed, grandmother is getting older and the green coconut doesn’t have fruits anymore, just become a tall and old tree stand in the middle.
Flash back the aged album took by grandparents, found out they are sweet couples I haven’t saw ever. Bride photo with black and white background, travel Penang Island together and that’s their honeymoon. Every time smile on their oldest post and fashion styling on the photo. Grandmother will repeat and repeated to their stories, how she and grandpa meet and how they grow my father up. I constantly listen and absorb her happiness even while story about their hard time, she still smile and tough to stand still. Father told us to learn from grandmother, who a good life example in our lifetime.

As a student who need to hand in assignment after the holidays. I’m fully utilizing my time for rest, play and homework. In between progress of being successful is so hard when I decided to do my homework in the holidays itself. Yet, pleasure on my prefect timing arrangement. Thank god, I’m controlling myself to concentrate when I have to. Eventually, I manage to finish my homework and hand in on time. Not only 1 assignment but is few of it. I’m glad and feel excited on what I have done. Though when I saw an email, it made my heartbeat beats faster, breathe slow and hard and sweat on my hand. My mid term examination is on the 8th of March!
Controversy on examination is to test of knowledge not of students’ memory and not of ability of the student; but material we absorb in the class and information we develop and usage on the daily life. Essentially mid term examination is to know how we understand to our subject so far. Honestly, I haven’t got ready for the examination. Lecture notes and textbook is still inside my drawer. Atmosphere surround me affected I’m not focus. While still fooling around and enjoy my great holidays at home. Someone please knock my head and order me to deliberate on my study.

Festival!
Few months before the Chinese New Year, I’d started to buy my new clothes. It is a must for us to wear new clothes during Chinese New Year and we are not allowed to wear black color clothings. Everyone wears their new clothings and back to their hometown for Chinese New Year celebration. On the first day of Chinese New Year, a reunion dinner will be held on every family and all the family member suppose to go back home for the dinner. Most of the family will eat a dish called ‘yee sang’. We need to mix all the ingredient of the food (yee sang) by chopsticks. All the food we eat during Chinese New Year has its own meaning, like mandarin orange means gold because of the Cantonese sound of it and the ‘yee sang’ I’d mentioned it means ‘good luck’.
All the kids will get red packet from the adults, we called it as ‘ang pow’. We are not allowed to sweep the floor on the first day of Chinese New Year because it is a tradition. During the olden days, sweeping the floor means sweeping away those good luck out from the house. Some of them will visit their relatives and friends during the first day but mostly will only visit on the second day. We try all types of cookies, candy, mandarin orange, drinks and play while visiting relative’s house. Get to meet all the relatives whom went overseas for further studies or work.
This year is not a good year for me because I’m sick during the Chinese New Year Eve and until now I’m not recover yet. How pathetic! But we still love Chinese New Year, aren’t we? :)

Animal rights 2
I’ve actually received lots of email that talk about animal abuse. After I read the mail, make me understand that how heartless a human can be. Animals like dogs or cats don’t attack people until the people want to attack them but why a human can be cruel towards an animal. They are really loyal to people if we (people) treat them like a friend.
I think lots of you heard ‘we’d rather naked than wear fur’? There are volunteers from PETA (People for ethical treatment to animals) have had a riot on the street saying that they’d rather be naked than wearing fur. There are lots of people arguing on animal rights but we shouldn’t just talk about it and we have to do it too.
Some of them even bought a puppy just because of everyone or some celebrities are having a puppy and he/she wants to own one too. That is really unfair, animal is not our toys. Own them if you really love it or you can take good care of it not because just for fun or bought it back and just close it in the cage. For me that am actually counted as abuse too!

For some, they kill animals not only make them as food but also just to get their SKIN. Like crocodile, tiger, cow, snake, pig and etc. They get their skin just to make them into expensive or so called “trendy” accessories like purse, handbag, shoes and clothes. Some branded shops even put a label in front of the handbag to show the customer that what is made from. They will label as “Made in pig skin” or “Made in crocodile skin” in front of the handbag. Not only handbag, they also use tiger skin or fur to make clothes or some home decorations. Just because of the word ‘TREND’ the humans are willing to kill the entire animal to get the skin and wear it on their body.
Not only that, all the girl should support the brand of cosmetics or skin care that is labeled with ‘against animal testing’. Some brand will test the products on animal before they launch it, just to make sure that the product will have no side effects when it is applied on the human’s body.

Malaysia well known inter racial marriage is Baba and Nyonya, where is a mix culture of Indonesia Chinese. Civil war begin while administrate by Dutch in Penang and Malacca. Communities of different country immigrant or shift to places they stare for good opportunities. When a males Indonesian and Female Chinese get marriage and the generation name Baba and Nyonya. Baba is mean for male and Nyonya is female. Culture in between Baba and Nyonya is fame by religion, language and tradition.
Not only Baba and Nyonya in our country as an example of inter racial marriage, there are also others like Indian and Chinese or Chinese and Malay. All of them have different culture, festival and language, but they choose each other as their only partner in life because they tolerate and accept the different culture and get married to be a family. Is not only love in the relationship, it is also because all of us respect the other races and we choose to live happily together with each other although sometimes there are some fights among other races. They are likeable to choose their own religion to held importance belief. Actually is not easy to live with someone that different culture, religion and language but we (Malaysian) did it. That’s the example to show others that the racial harmony in our country.
21st century inter racial marriage is now more common in every society, not only in Malaysia but Middle East or South Pacific Asia. They exchange their culture like tradition and life style to live in different environment and community. Pursue to religion like Islamic, no matter male marriage with female or either who are Islam must officially become Islam in lawsuit. This sense is to let both female and male more get in to the Malay emblematic character on culture. Make sure both are respect and concern to each other. By some means inter racial is a harmony act in all community no matter you are with different color skin, different language and different religion. We are still one big family in one world.
Commonality Malaysia no matter you is Malay, Chinese or Indian. You are Malaysian. Malaysia is a big society with different culture. Start from foods we have in our daily life. Combination of nasi lemak and teh tarik, Malay food where the rice cook by using coconut milk serve with chili (sambal) and red tea add on fresh milk. Roti kosong, Indian food where made by flour and butter. Bak kut teh, Chinese food where boiled by herb soup cook with fresh juicy meat. Malaysia culture not only variety choices of foods. But different religion brings out different belief. Yet belief shows that different nature of traditions and ethnicity.
Malay who celebrates Hari Raya Aidilfitri know as (Hari Raya Puasa), they are getting 1 months of fast to prepare themselves to gain from poor people life, further ready to obtain forgiveness for their mistake. Chinese who celebrates Chinese New Year thru the New Year, precious to the earth provide great life and meaning of throwing unconscious of last year to begin new life. Variety of activities will start while festivals begin. Although you from different races. You will experience faithful races culture and cheerful for surrounding people who celebrate. We also celebrate together with them like visit them during their festival, which also can let us learn about the cultural of different races.
3 main races in 1 country we called it big family. Whereby, 1 Malaysia slogan appears to recognize all Malaysian live in peace and tolerance. Loyalty to your tanah air where the place raise you up in way you are born until you become a useful person in this society. Malaysia government blunt to funds student and company for create great future opportunities; provide wealth medical facilities and road facilities with government taxes, improving to protect earth with green house effect program to maintain high quality of life. Even though we still fight with each different race, however we do love our country and our people; care each other to be strong. Look forward we still support to our country where the Olympic Games and every activity outside of Malaysia. That’s our spiritual to move with our country to speck become tough and 1st world country.
This is the picture of all my beloved classmates!

After a year of holiday, I started to think whether what course should I take? Management and marketing in business? Law? After everything, I’ve decided to take mass communication. I’m not an active person but why I will choose to take this course. Maybe I want to make myself different. I want this course make me more active, friendly. I like to socialize with people but I think I just don’t know the way how to socialize with others. Before the night of orientation, I started to feel panic and I had insomnia for the whole week. I don’t know why maybe is too long since I last touched the book and no assignment but my friend told me everything will be fine, no worries with it. I also pray hard for my timetable, but I think God didn’t get my message because my classes still start from 10 to 5 for Monday and Tuesday. Thursday is the most worst among all, class starts from 8 to 5. Traffic jam makes me feel tired. The course started, and I made lots of new friends. They are really friendly since the first day of class. We know our all our lecturer, some even gave us assignment the second day. Our CCPD lecturer, Dr.Benedict wants us to do a Creative introducing. We feel stress with it because we scared not creative enough and we’ve GONE THROUGH the presentation. At first, I think I shouldn’t have problem with assignment because I did ICPU before so I should be fine with “assignment” but too bad, I’m not fine at all. I think I need some time to be fine with assignment this thing. I started to love this course day by day, I feel its really an interesting course although sometimes we will nag and complain something about stress with assignment but we love this course, aren’t we? And now I know I want to be a PR! Maybe there will be harder or more challenges waiting for me but I won’t give up easily. We should enjoy our college life, don’t think that it’s hard or it’s killing us. :)
